My First Travel Blog: Exploring the Beauty of Kodaikanal

The journey started with a bus ride from the Madurai Arapalayam Bus Stand to Kodaikanal.
Here’s a quick breakdown of our travel expenses:
- Auto Fare: Madurai Railway Station to Arapalayam Bus Stand – ₹150
- Bus Fare: Arapalayam Bus Stand to Kodaikanal – ₹102 per person
Day 1: Exploring Poomparai and Mannavanur
On our first day, we explored the picturesque villages of Poomparai and Mannavanur, famous for their stunning landscapes that have served as a backdrop for many films.

There’s no shortage of fun activities to try in Kodaikanal:
- Horse Riding: ₹100 per person
- Ziplining: ₹500 per person
- Boating: ₹100 per person
